During the last panel presentation of the day on candidate weblogs, Dave Winer asked for a show of hands in the audience for all the Republicans in attendance. Sean was the only one (that he saw) who raised his hand. Sean says he met one other conservative blogger later, but that’s it…
At one point during the journalism panel, Glenn Reynolds flippantly said Dick Cheney should be fired if he had anything to do with Plame/Wilson. That got the crowd cheering and clapping. Sean said he was rolling his eyes at their enthusiasm.
For those reasons, the conference will now be known as LeftyCon.
