I would be surprised if those who believe abortion should be legal would object to language that says we should try to reduce the circumstances in which women feel compelled to obtain an abortion. If they took that position, I would disagree with them. I don't know any circumstance in which abortion is a happy circumstance or decision, and to the extent that we can help women avoid being confronted with a circumstance in which that's even a consideration, I think that's a good thing. But again, that's my view. There may be politics involved in this that I'm not entirely aware of.
Remind you a bit of Obama defending his 20 years in Jeremiah Wright's church?
Well Mr. Obama, allow the good folks at CatholicVote to bring you out of your alleged ignorant stupor:

Barry, what you are unaware of would fill several books.

Josef Mengela would be SOOOOOOOOOO proud of this people!
The only life they give a DAMN about is their own. May they all be barren...and may their ilk die out.

I have to say Obama is correct on this one.
What I see here is the same kind of "pride" exuded by radical gays about the hedonistic "gay lifestyle". Of course they will never acknowledge the booze, the drugs, and the lifetime of psychotherapy that seems to be a necessary part of coping with their lifestyle choices.
I feel sorry for these poor women, because these infantile solidarity displays are probably the only things keeping many of them from complete nervous breakdowns.

"Unless you're going to start adopting all of these kids who are going to be born..."
Um... There has been an immense disconnect between the large number of couples and families waiting to adopt and the small number of children available for adoption since at least the 1980s. Of course, the woman's statement is just an ignorant emotional argument used as a really piss-poor smokescreen. They don't want adopted babies. They want dead babies. Period.
