I actually don't watch JS's Daily Show because I think he's a, 'insert your own personal epitaph here', and couldn't be forced to but I thought that was funny. Hell, I even laughed.
He's right though, the expiration date is past on that bullshit and I for one will not put up with anyone that whips out their pity card any more, screw them all.
It's time to stand on your own, or drown in self pity.

The thing is that by the time left-leaning comedians like Stewart and Colbert feel able to ridicule such a shibboleth of the left as the race card, it had to already have jumped the proverbial shark in the culture.
The cry of "RAAAAACIST!!!1!" has lost much of its sting because it is so often just an obvious attempt to either avoid responsibility for one's actions or obtain some concession for oneself and/or one's allies. It is usually blatantly false, and even in those cases where one might find some racial insensitivity if one searched hard enough, it is exaggerated beyond all relevance to the given situation.
