I'm imagining that there are many ways to celebrate America's birthday. But celebrating it with Orson Welles' recounting of the Battle Hymn of the Republic can't be too bad either.

There was a time when actors and celebrities thought America was great and worth standing for.

How could you NOT live in this exceptional country and feel nothing but gratitude for the privilege?
To those who are so disillusioned with our country, I humbly suggest you experience life in a different venue, and see how that works for you.
If you indeed survive .

STOP saying "Happy 4th of July"
The entire world - including enemies that despise us - has a 4th of July, a 3rd of July, a 5th of July ...
BUT ONLY AMERICA CELEBRATES July 4th AS "INDEPENDENCE DAY".
Say it right: "HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!"

When patriots were patriots. It didn't matter that they were also actors!
