Repeating from before, this is a triple-elimination tournament with pairings set up by initial random draws. This is not to be taken seriously, but to exercise perspectives of how different Presidents faced their duties, crises, and opportunities.
It has been noted that some Presidents have enjoyed match-ups which favored or penalized them relative to other Presidents. This is an effect of the random matching, but it also serves to remind us that Presidents have to deal with the situation in place when they take office. Some come into much better opportunity or worse crisis than others.
As usual, no actual politicians were harmed in the creation of this post. No matter what Joe Biden says.
