Again, this is a triple-elimination tournament with pairings set up by initial random draws. This is not to be taken seriously, but to exercise perspectives of how different Presidents faced their duties, crises, and opportunities.
As before, no actual politicians were harmed in the creation of this post. I may admit to taunting a few, though.
ADDENDUM: Ike and Spike Play Catch Up
As Mr. Right observed, after the First Round, in which Eisenhower thumped Hoover 16-1, both Presidents took off to watch the Super Bowl and Miami and got, hmm, "distracted" in Miami and lost most of the week. If the real men were actually participating or this were something to take more seriously than an Obama campaign promise, this could be a big problem, but since this is entertainment with a bit of value in comparing situations and hypothetical comparisons, Ike and Spike (as I call them) get to play catch-up. Here are their Round Two, Three, Four and Five match-ups - the results here will only count with respect to Eisenhower (1-0) and Hoover (0-1):
D Eisenhower vs R Nixon
D Eisenhower vs A Jackson
D Eisenhower vs A Johnson
D Eisenhower vs J Polk
H Hoover vs C Arthur
H Hoover vs U Grant
H Hoover vs W Harding
H Hoover vs M Van Buren

Why don't you use a grid chart design if there are three unique factors supposedly involved in your game?
i.e. Each president gets 3 scores: Dx, Cx, Ox
That still leaves you with plenty of artistic license in the weighing-out or factoring-in. Otherwise, this all seems like war solitaire with a custom deck of presidential playing cards.

Well, I think most everyone is tired of both political parties since they no longer represent you....but only big government.
The TeaParty group will not hurt the Republicans because they did this to themselves.
There's a new book just out about a small town in America where the people stand up to federal tyranny ('career politicians, etc.) & starts the 2nd American Revolution.
Great read for 201 & upcoming elections. I recommend it.

In all seriousness, it isn't quite right to include Obama, Bush and even Clinton at this early a date. Government actions and policies require years maybe decades to bear fruit. Also, with a random match up a three loss elimination is harsh. A president could be 5th best but run up against likes of Washington and Lincoln be knocked out early.

Bill (above) makes a great point about recent presidents. You can't really assess Obama, Bush II, or Clinton because we don't have the benefit of historical perspective. That said, however:
Washington over Monroe, Lincoln over Roosevelt. Washington forged the presidency in a time when it lacked rules, and Lincoln kept the Union together.
Adams
An intriguing comparison. I am tempted to say "Polk" simply because he was a consequential president who accomplished his goals (among them, expanding the Union from coast to caost), but I must declare a draw. I can't render judgment on Bush.
Jackson (Madison muffed the War of 1812). Ford and Cleveland are intriguing. According to Wikipedia, Cleveland retained a reputation for honesty, while Ford was required to restore some of the presidency's reputation under Nixon. But of the two, gotta go with Cleveland. He was effective. Ford, not so much. Jefferson. Roosevelt and John Adams. Van Buren, Taft, and Harrison.Truman, Bush I.
