If any of the 'normal' Democratic cheating tactics were to be deployed, they'd have had to do some planning in advance. Until a couple of weeks ago, Martha was a shoo-in. Closing day for getting an absentee ballot was last week.

The voters of Massachusetts have the floor today, if it hasn't rotted out from under them while they trusted it to the care of the likes of Kennedy and Kerry.

Absentee ballots are a favorite way to stuff the ballot boxes. Even if they are photocopies, they will get counted in big cities in Lawrence. If anyone asks, they ran out of "real" forms and had to give out copies. Of course the machine will also hand out lists of registered voters. What they would like to have is signatures that somewhat match the registration lists, but the big thing is to have lots of ballots with different signatures.

Coakley hasn't lost yet. Turnout is very heavy, and that usually means a Democratic win. Democrats are apparently using robocalls to tell Brown supporters that if they are registered Democrats and try to vote for Brown, they can't. If it's a close Brown win, the machine can steal it for Coakley and save the Democrat's agenda. And they will.

I've also read that there aren't going to be any exit polls. That makes it easier to cheat: there are no other number to show that Coakley lost. The assumption will be that she made a huge comeback.
