Beck can be "out there" some of the time. But unfortunately he has been correct more often than he has been wrong. His predictions border on prophecy at points and yes he is deeply religious after years as an alcoholic, but that doesn't mean he is wrong.

Many people in this country are usually too lazy to be bothered by political scandals and minutia. If it takes someone like Beck tooting the big horn and sounding crazy to give those people a reason to question the goings on in Washington then we NEED a man like Glenn Beck on the side of the people.

We need "crazy" people on the Left as well to balance him out and keep us looking at the wrong doing on the right too.

Thankfully there are plenty of nutjobs to fill the position on that side of the aisle.

As for the term "Becked" I liken it to the term "Swiftboated" which it is obviously meant to replace in the lexicon.

Any time the Right uses FACTS and THEIR OWN STATEMENTS ON RECORD against them it is considered a personal attack and a smear campaign. John Kerry misrepresented himself to the American People and got "swiftboated" (a.k.a. Outed) by his own fellow soldiers.

I'm sure that, rather than "Beck" someone, SAUD would use ol' Splash Kennedy's tactic and just "Bork" someone. The first takes some time and ability to research what someone has said, the other just takes a pint of scotch and the ability to spew out anything that comes to mind.

Of the six people who were actually on the Swift Boat with him and had the opportunity to witness Kerry's military actions, five backed Kerry to the hilt and one was dead.
