If you haven't seen the new "Organizing for Healthcare" logo from Barack Obama's website, here it is:

This is bizarre. It is spooky. It is actually kind of frightening.
Narcissist that he is, his official campaign logo affixed prominently in the middle, on top of a map of the country. No American flag to be seen.
Some AMA-like symbol, with white, faceless beings standing behind the Obama logo, like lost souls, as if he's is protecting them.
I'm going to catch flak for this, but, it reminds me of some Nazi propaganda poster from World War II.
Who the hell thinks this crap up?

Yes it's unfortunate. The caduceus resemble the eagle and they placed the Obama symbol right where the nazi cross would be.
Ironic, but not surprising given how amazingly tone deaf this administration is.
What's really creepy is not the logo but the idea that they need to raise a propaganda army to force this crap socialized medicine down our throats.

The 'organizing' is being done outside of the white house. It appears they are using Obama campaign organization grassroots mechanism. There's no "american flag' because its not a whie house/government effort.

To carry it further, the "AMA-like symbol" is the Caduceus which comes from mythology and is the symbol on the staff carried by Hermes - the "Messenger of the Gods." The proper medical/healer symbol would be a single snake wrapped around the staff.
So, Team Obama has metaphorically portrayed themselves Hermes, the messengers of the Gods, delivering God's will for the people in our land.

Hey Aresay, I've made a suggestion to them so that they don't have to rely on tips. Here's my email to flag@whitehouse.gov
Dear Great Leader:
Here's a suggestion so that You can tell 'them' from 'us' at town hall meetings.
Have 'our people' dress in a conspicuous uniform. "They" will then stand out when our elected commissars hold meetings in which to give Your instructions out to the commoners.
Uniform suggestion: Brown shirts, brown jodhpurs, black boots (hobnails optional). All topped off with a nifty visored cap. I'd also suggest a contrasting color for the shirt. Perhaps a bright red armband. On the armband we could have a large white circle, and in that circle a black captial "O". I think the style might catch on and we could quickly round up those opposed to the progressive movement, perhaps send them to a re-education camp. I personally don't know how successful that might be. I believe one of your friends, Bill Ayers, once estimated that approximately 25 million citizens would have "to be eliminated" because they could not be retrained. But I'm sure it will be worth the cost to advance Your ideas for the good of the country.
