Everything about Barack Obama is contrived, even his online town hall. The Washington Post reveals today that the five people from the internet chosen at "random" to ask questions were all campaign supporters:
But while the online question portion of the White House town hall was open to any member of the public with an Internet connection, the five fully identified questioners called on randomly by the president in the East Room were anything but a diverse lot. They included: a member of the pro-Obama Service Employees International Union, a member of the Democratic National Committee who campaigned for Obama among Hispanics during the primary; a former Democratic candidate for Virginia state delegate who endorsed Obama last fall in an op-ed in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star; and a Virginia businessman who was a donor to Obama's campaign in 2008.

No kidding. I was only surprised by the fact that Obama's questioners weren't the infamous "Gang of Six" from last year's Democrat debate in Las Vegas.

You would think at some point he would get a hint and stop doing idiotic things like this. He should know by now we are going to catch him and make him look like a horse's ass. Again, he looks like a naïve politician who is oblivious to how is being perceived.

Why on earth should he stop? He knows that no matter what he does, he will not be criticized at this point by the Obamatons; the most important Obamaton being the MSM.

This is looking less and less like news about responsible policy, and more like distributing propaganda.

Sooner or later Obama is going to have to answer questions he doesn't get from sycophants and lackey's. Somehow I don't think he's going to be prepared to give a good answer, let alone one that stays on subject.

Guess he took lessons from President Bush. At least these people didn't have to sign loyalty cards. You people didn't complain when Bush was doing his town hall meetings and refusing entrance to some people. So why complain now?

No, he looks like a Chicago pol who thinks the press is in his pocket, so who really gives a damn?
But the gloss is wearing off, and the Press isn't going quite as far to cover up any more. Pretty soon, they're going to be out for blood - and I don't think Obama will handle that anywhere as well as Bush did. Obama LIVES for the attention, for the ego stroking. Take that away, and we're going to see one mighty unhappy incompetent politician that's been pushed way above his pay grade...

Think of it as a way of keeping the riff-raff out. But then, Bush did not make a 'secret' of it. All five of those "plants" stood and presented themselves as 'average joe citizen'.

"Why have millions of illegal aliens and their families been allowed to settle in the United States?"
The only response I get to that question is, "You are a racist!"
