There were a couple of funny captions (the photoshopping still needs work).
Caution, though. Too much wanking might deplete the life essence. Put a more polite way, Redstate seems to be daydreaming in right field. Would they even notice a ball rolling by their feet, or will some kid in the stands have to yell, "YO! DUMMY! WAKE UP!" and then throw a full coke at Redstate while muttering "retards!".
But the funniest part, scrolling down: "Redstate Morning Briefing".
This, from a website/organization that complained they were being picked on by Ron Paul supporters in the COMMENTS THREAD back in 2008. Effeminate poseurs, thy name is Redstate.
Please don't encourage them, Lori. Plus [whispering], I spied an "AdCouncil" banner on their webpage. The Ad Council makes Obama look like Dwight D. Eisenhower. And no, Redstate doesn't have to "take" the ad. Anyway, like I said, poseurs. Fakes, phony pros, chickenhawks.

You know, this "he can't speak without a teleprompter" thing you guys keep harping on is pretty funny.
First of all, did the man have a teleprompter when he cleaned McCain's clock in ALL THREE debates?
Second, SO WHAT if he does a better job speaking with a teleprompter than without? Don't you want a President who thinks about what he's going to say before he says it? I for one prefer it to a fake cowboy blurting out "Bring it on!"
Lastly, though most people were a little bemused about the Special Olympics joke-thingy, don't you agree that, at one time or another most of us have made similar remarks? Is there anyone posting here who has never made a "witty" remark only to immediately realize it offended someone?
And before you say, "Yeah, but he's the President," remember all the slack you cut the Previous Occupant when he said boneheaded stuff.

The debates were awful. They were nothing but prepared speeches. Obama had to take extra time to memorize the speeches.
Obama has shown he has a hard time without a teleprompter. Some things a person shouldn't have to "think about "before answering. It is call core principle and no one knows what core principles Obama has.

Look, if someone doesn't even know the answer to this question, then nothing anyone can say to them is going to make any sense.
I keep thinking of the news anchor who looks and sounds great "reading" the news from the teleprompter, but lacks the skills to go out into the field and actually do any reporting or even any analyzing of the news in studio. (Think Ted Baxter)
You could get one of those Disney audio animatronics to look and sound good with prepared remarks. I would think that everyone would want more than that in their President, but evidently I would be wrong.
Obama isn't dumb or completely uninformed, but he sometimes comes off a bit that way when off teleprompter because he has come to rely too heavily on it. When you are President words matter -- a lot.
It sure bothered liberals when Bush said things that sounded dumb. I wrote many times about how serious Bush's lack of communication skills was and how our next President needed to be a great communicator.
The difference between Bush and Obama, IMHO is that Obama can read from teleprompter and into a tv camera well, but is not good at speaking on his own. Bush was horrible when using a teleprompter and speaking into a camera (as he did in Oval Office addresses), but was great when speaking to an audience, especially in an informal setting. I'll leave it to you all to decide which exhibits greater intellect and command of the issues.

He's not a 'better communicator' - just a better reader. A true communicator could explain why he would abandon all pretense of what he promised during the 2-year election cycle. A true communicator would be able to explain why he's about to outspend his predecessor's 8 years (including 6 years of wartime expenditures) in under 90 days.

Obama didn't debate anyone, he memorized some canned answers to known questions. An actual debate is something where the candidates challenge each other. McCain requested this format for some Town Hall debates, but Obimbo ran away, which is the only play he knows. He runs away from responsibility and real solutions.
He doesn't do solutions, he just haphazardly throws the treasure and sweat of others (sans plan) at those problems that interest him. Maybe something good will happen, maybe not, either way in his mind it's not his fault.

McCain sucked big time in the debates because he never called Obama on any of the inaccuracies and outright lies he told. His team sent out emails during the debate pointing out all the inaccuracies and contradictions with past statements Obama made, but unfortunately McCain did not point them out during the debate.
Most of all though, McCain destroyed any chance he had at the presidency when he jumped on the bailout bandwagon.

Here's whats wrong - Obama has sold himself (and continues to try to do so) as a package that doesn't contain what his prose describes. I'll use the terms 'chumps' and 'dupes' again because those that were sold on oratory never looked to see what the package contained.
Pig in a poke. Snake-oil. Trojan horse. His ability to read magically countered his years of voting 'present' in the Illinois senate; his participation in the Annenberg Challenge with noted douchebag Bill Ayres; hangin' with Mr. Wright. His town-hall style meetings were noted comedy gold as he spluttered and sputtered and showed his true form.

Over the last 15 months, we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go."
*Last week, in front of a roaring Sioux Falls, South Dakota audience, Obama exulted: "Thank you Sioux City...I said it wrong. I've been in Iowa for too long. I'm sorry."
"that is above my paygrade"
""In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed." The actual death toll: 12.
*Explaining last week why he was trailing Hillary Clinton in Kentucky, Obama again botched basic geography: "Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it's not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle." On what map is Arkansas closer to Kentucky than Illinois?
*Obama has as much trouble with numbers as he has with maps. Last March, on the anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march in Selma, Alabama, he claimed his parents united as a direct result of the civil rights movement:
"There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born."
Obama was born in 1961. The Selma march took place in 1965. His spokesman, Bill Burton, later explained that Obama was "speaking metaphorically about the civil rights movement as a whole."
*Earlier this month in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Obama showed off his knowledge of the war in Afghanistan by honing in on a lack of translators: "We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it's harder for us to use them in Afghanistan." The real reason it's "harder for us to use them" in Afghanistan: Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish. The Afghanis speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages.
*Over the weekend in Oregon, Obama pleaded ignorance of the decades-old, multi-billion-dollar massive Hanford nuclear waste clean-up:
"Here's something that you will rarely hear from a politician, and that is that I'm not familiar with the Hanford, uuuuhh, site, so I don't know exactly what's going on there. (Applause.) Now, having said that, I promise you I'll learn about it by the time I leave here on the ride back to the airport."
I assume on that ride, a staffer reminded him that he's voted on at least one defense authorization bill that addressed the "costs, schedules, and technical issues" dealing with the nation's most contaminated nuclear waste site.
*Last March, the Chicago Tribune reported this little-noticed nugget about a fake autobiographical detail in Obama's "Dreams from My Father:"
"Then, there's the copy of Life magazine that Obama presents as his racial awakening at age 9. In it, he wrote, was an article and two accompanying photographs of an African-American man physically and mentally scarred by his efforts to lighten his skin. In fact, the Life article and the photographs don't exist, say the magazine's own historians."
* And in perhaps the most seriously troubling set of gaffes of them all, Obama told a Portland crowd over the weekend that Iran doesn't "pose a serious threat to us"-cluelessly arguing that "tiny countries" with small defense budgets can't do us harm- and then promptly flip-flopped the next day, claiming, "I've made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave."
Shall I go on?

I gave a presentation in Singapore yesterday. When I rose to speak someone from the audience yelled, "Wow. He's going to work without a teleprompter."
A column appeared in the New Strait Times (local Singapore paper)that sparked some intense conversation. It began as such:
"We're in a once-a-century financial crisis, and yet we've actually descended into politics worse than usual. There don't seem to be any adults at the top -- nobody acting larger than the moment, nobody being impelled by anything deeper than the last news cycle. Instead, Congress is slapping together punitive tax laws overnight like some Banana Republic, our president is getting in trouble cracking jokes on Jay Leno comparing his bowling skills to a Special Olympian, and the opposition party is behaving as if its only priority is to deflate President Obama's popularity."
You thought we were a joke under Bush? In the 60 days (sheesh, it seems like so much longer)since he took office, Obama has demonstrated a total absence of leadership in the free world. The liberals were so concerned that our country was the laughingstock of the world community. Well, listen closely. They're laughing now.
Welcome to George Bush's third term.

They are going to so much trouble to try and cover der Leader's multiple verbal gaffs by attacking the straw man argument "They are criticizing his overuse of the teleprompter, waaaaaaa." How very dishonest of them, including that hack David Letterman.
To help the Obamist morons understand (as if that is what they really wanted), we are criticizing Obama's inability to conduct normal verbal conversations in public venues without saying something harmful, unless he has a teleprompter. It's not that he is overusing it, it's that he can't seem to function as the president when he doesn't have it.

It is pretty funny to me that in an attempt to defend Obama, who is supposed to be the best orator in the history of the world, they compare him to George Bush, who everyone (including his supporters and Bush himself) readily admit is a poor public speaker. I happen to think that in some settings (like those small ceremonies he used to hold in the White House honoring sports figures and speaking to military audiences) he shines, but in front of a camera he often stank. That is pretty convincing evidence that even his followers know Obama often puts his foot in his mouth without his BFF TOTUS.
