Jack Fowler at The Corner points us to Sarah Palin's address to the 2009 Special Olympics in Boise, Idaho. She talks about the large part this organization will play in their family's life and how much she looks forward to the opportunity Trig will have to play sports just like the rest of her kids did.

sorry, joe, but the MSM already used the "IDIOT" label on George W. Bush. And they NEVER re-cycle!
Please choose your descriptor for the President from the APPROVED list below:
- Brilliant
- "A gift to America from the world" [Chris Mathews]
- Too cool for school
- The One
In the unlikely event that one of those descriptors doesn't work for you in this scenario (our "beloved" President insulting the Special Olympics and disabled children) please choose from one of the "approved" excuses below. Our President was:
- misquoted
- misunderstood
- trying to start a long over-due dialogue on disabilities
- tired from saving the world
- speaking "in-artfully"

Maybe the Special Olympics needs to challenge the current administration to a bowling tournement. Winner takes all, although I don't know that the Special Olympians would want the White House. Since the current adminisration is morally disabled, they should be able to play about even. I'd still lay my money on the special olympics though.

When someone walks up with a handful of index cards and gives a speech while only glancing down to check for notes and data, they have to know the subject matter to a certain degree.
Here's the problem: we have a bunch of people who think we got a great statesman when Obama won in November. Unfortunately, what we really got was William Hurt in "Broadcast News."

Bravo, Gov. Palin! She has more guts in her uterus than most Liberals have in their entire bodies! By her life-affirming example, she has put too many people to shame.
And that's why they hate her.
