When has Obama ever told the truth other than when it has been exceedingly convenient for him? Can anyone think of ONE example?

I've said it once, I'll say it as many times as I need to. If the candidate changes what he says in the short span between primay and genearl elections, then they really ARE lying to you.
And if they're lying to you then, they'll lie to you about anything and everything. I'm just amazed at how the MSM gave this guy such a pass, and is JUST NOW starting to wake up to the way he really is.
Well, amazed is the wrong word. Disgusted would be better.

I've come to the conclusion that you can tell when Obama's lying.....his lips are moving. Jut about everything he's said on the campaign trail has had an expiration date. If he's stuck to anything it's for convenience.
BTW, how's that ICE 'investigation' on his auntie going? Probably in the same in-basket as Kerry's release of ALL of his military records and Chris Dodd's full disclosure of his Countrywide mortgage.

max, Bush Derangement Syndrome has already been described and quantified, the manic hatred of the President despite what he does. You suffer from it, and apparently also from Obama Derangement Syndrome, the manic worship of the President despite what he does.
Basically, you are just deranged. Obama has done a couple of things right in the last month, mainly by copying his predecessor on national security measures, but his leadership in an economic crisis is pathetic, and his plans are ridiculous.

Ever notice that when you confront an Obamabot with a blatant contradiction in what The One does, as opposed to what he said, they:
1) Bring up something Bush did 4-5-6-7 years ago
2) Never answer your question
3) Tell you "It's all Bush's fault".
The mortgage melt-down was Bush's fault. Let's see, WHO WAS RUNNING CONGRESS in 2006-2008? What PARTY had control over banking and lending oversight committee's?
What PARTY was it that had members calling administration officials racist because they sounded warnings on the financial structure and practices at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?
Sorry to have an Inconvenient Memory. But would some stark raving liberal as least have the balls to admit "Hey, ya know, you're right. We screwed up. And we are going to go after Chris Dodd and his sweetheart deal with Countrywide." .......crickets chirping......

The situation, as I see it: When someone lies to me, they're gone. Of what use are they? Ever again. A lie is simply stealing the truth.
We can,and should, insist on this from our elected.... and they should accept that if they lie, and are caught out, they are banished. No discussion. One strike and they're out.
Lying to get elected is clearly fraud; seducing - even a gullible electorate - cannot be forgiven and appropriate penalties should be persued.

Ah, smilies, that's easy!
Only a little over half of "working families" pay any federal income tax at all. Obama proposes to give the rest a "tax cut" in the form of raising the EITC and/or direct "stimulus" grants.
You cannot receive a reduction of something which you do not pay in the first place! It's merely a wealth transfer, "welfare" if you will.
