With apologies to Kevin, this may be worthy of an impromptu Caption Contest. A heretofore unnamed man had a bit of an accident boarding a Vail ski lift, leaving him dangling twenty feet above the ground and naked from the waist down. I won't repost any of the pictures here since they're borderline NSFW. And by NSFW I mean almost sure to distract co-workers when you're rolling on the floor giggling in side-splitting schadenfreude.
The resort probably avoided a lawsuit by agreeing to never publicly release his name. Let's hope the child who was with him won't be too severely punished scarred after he howled with laughter shrieked in terror while his old man hung pantsless and terrified. If it was my old man he'd get that image served to him on a picture cake every birthday for the rest of his life.

The pictures are hilarious and are def NSFW. I highly recommend everyone find them on your own time. I laughed for about 20 minutes everytime I showed them to someone new.

Every time I see that picture I guffaw. But, really, I feel so bad for that guy. How embarrassing. It's a good thing no bystander got a picture of his face. He'd never live that one down.

Wanna know why I find this so funny? Something very similar happened to my dad--though his pants didn't come off or any such thing--back in the early 1980s at Squaw Valley! I can even tell you the name of the chairlift, Newport.
My pop skied up to the "Stand here" board to wait for the chair to come around. What he didn't see was that the tip of his ski had slid under a cable that accidentally got exposed somehow and that auto shuts off the chair (at least back then they did).
Well, as my dad sits down and the chair begins going up, my pop is slowly being pulled out of the chair by this cable. I was right behind him and watched it all wondering WTF was happening. Finally, the cable won out and completely yanked my pop out of the chair about 30' from the 'Stand here' board and down about 5'-7' off the snow.
I thought, man, is he gonna pissed. But the funny thing was is that got up, brushed himself off and yelled to the lift ops, "Does this mean I have to go to the back of the line?"
It's pictures like this that make me glad that my pop had the good sense to wear long johns! LOL
