He was the 93 year old father of one of my favorite bloggers, Betsy. Betsy's father,.a World War II veteran, passed away Friday night.
If you can, go to Betsy's blog and wish her well in her time of grief. God bless the Newmark and Bamberger families.

My dad past a year ago Friday at 88 yrs. old. He was a WWII veteran also.
He was also a Democrat who's party left him behind a long time ago.
Miss you dad and love you forever.

RIP, and amen.
BTW, since we're bringing up WWII vets, my Dad is recovering from Ca surgery at age 87, hates George Bush, and is clinging onto life due to the desire to vote AGAINST BO in November.
