We've expanded our author roster with a familiar name to NRO readers, Steve Schippert.
Steve Schippert is a director, and senior fellow for the Center for Threat Awareness and its online presence, ThreatsWatch.org. Steve's work with CTA has focused on terrorism, the war on terror, and military operations. Steve also writes for National Review Online's military blog, The Tank.
In September 2007, he was part of a select group of military bloggers invited to discuss security issues with President George W. Bush at the White House. A veteran of the Gulf War, he served as a United States Marine from 1985 to 1993. His career experiences also include being a program director for a broadcast television station, a marketing consultant and an instructor at a proprietary post-secondary IT institute. Steve has a passion for politics and speaking that is grounded in national security, the preservation and defense of liberty, principled leadership and clarity in communication.
