I was watching the coverage... (Below threshold)1. Posted by ExSubNuke | September 2, 2008 7:43 PM | Score: 1 (1 votes cast)
I was watching the coverage on MSNBC, and I was surprised at how they talked for 3-4 minutes about "how small a venue the RNC chose." The talking heads came to the conclusion that it's to make it look more packed than it really is.
Maybe, just maybe, it's because the RNC doesn't want to make such a gaudy spectacle of the proceedings, a la the DNC.
Just a guess.

LOL, Jo Ann Davidson just said we're nominating "Sarah Pawlenty" as our vice-president.

maybe they didn't want to have as enormous a 'carbon footprint' as the Big O's spectacle at Mile High. I saw something about how much effort they put into using renewable energy for the convention etc. Any chance the nets are giving it as much attention as the Dems doing such a thing?
I know, don't make you laugh...
