An Orange County, Florida, man put up a billboard reading, "Please Don't Vote for a Democrat," And a picture of the World Trade Centers just after the September 11, 2001, attacks.

"Just looking at it, I'm not thinking about Democrat or Republican, I'm thinking about the twin towers and all the people killed," resident Mary Anderson told Eyewitness News.
The ad went up last week and is causing quite a reaction.
"Why use the twin towers for that purpose?" Anderson questioned.
Mike Meehan is the guy who put up the sign, and the Democrats in Orange County are understandably upset. My question to you, Wizbangers, is this: should this guy (or anybody) be using 9/11 attack images to sell a record?

There were hundreds of small things demanded by liberal democrats that led to the attack not being discovered and will lead to another attack. Just put an Arab in the white house and find out.

I don't find the image of the towers inherently offensive. Upsetting, yes, but maybe we need to be upset sometimes for our own good. I know Dems would like people to forget the images, burnt permanently into my retinas, of the worst attack in this nation's history.
It's not like showing photos of victims. It's not like showing those pictures of doomed people jumping to their deaths while holding hands.
It's not like showing Daniel Pearl's head being thrust toward a camera by Khalid Sheik Mohammed.
No, those images would be truly tasteless. But the message would still be valid: "This is what Dems would allow to happen again, because they are all fired up about terrorists' rights, and want to hamper any possible way of preventing future attacks." But that message is too long for the shortened attention span of most voters.
Maybe to keep it simple for the stupid, the ad could be modified to something more along the lines of: "This guy [picture of KSM] did This [picture of WTC]. Ask your Congressman if his rights are more important than American lives."
