My friend Candy sent me the link to this rather odd story, and we both wondered if the author will be looking for a new job soon. Either they sneaked something past their legions of editors and fact-checkers at Agence France Press, or the reporter is just as inept as their superiors:
A severed human foot has been found in Canada's westernmost Gulf Islands, marking the third such discovery in six months stumped police said Saturday, noting all three are right feet, size 12, male and shod in sneakers.
(Emphasis added)
I don't think the police are the only ones stumped here...

Worse, the police are holding back the critical information that they were all found on dark and stormy nights and that they all appear to be from the same individual....

Maybe these feet once belonged to the losers of the Canadian Western Regional Hacky-Sack championships? I here betting on Hacky-Sack can get pretty intense...

This article brought back all of those horrid jokes we told as kids..."What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in a pile of leaves?....Russell" and so on and so forth. That's what I get for reading Drudge every morning.
