Male Wizbang readers- Are you married to this woman?

A woman has been charged with nine counts of bigamy, the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office said.
Eunice Lopez, 26, was arrested Wednesday and accused of being married to 10 men at the same time.

It is unknown why she would want to marry 10 men.

It is also unknown if she was married to men in other counties or countries.

Note Lopez came here from Cuba in 2002. We can't deport her back, so what are we to do with her? Feel free to comment on that or how Lopez got 10 men to marry her.

Lopez, whose last known address is Hialeah, arrived in South Florida from Cuba in 2002 and promptly began marrying.
June and November appear to be her favorite months for weddings. She's had four November weddings -- in one case four days apart -- and four June weddings, according to the Herald's records check.

The state attorney's office began its investigation after being tipped off by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Chavez said.

Based on surnames, authorities believe the husbands are of Central American, Mexican and Brazilian descent.

It is still unclear how much money Lopez charged the men, but Chavez said it appears as though Lopez continued seeking additional payments from the men long after their the wedding ceremony.

Lopez, a legal U.S. resident, charged the men an unspecified amount to help them secure immigration status, according to the state attorney's office.

But it didn't stop there. She continued asking her husbands for money even after the nuptials were sealed, threatening to expose them if they didn't pay up, officials believe.

The state attorney's office is still trying to track down the husbands to be interviewed.

Chavez could not say what implications there would be for the men who tied the knot with Lopez -- they could face charges or be deported.

A simple check on the Miami-Dade County Clerk's website, providing only the bride's name and birthdate, yielded 17 marriage licenses.

So the count is 17 now. We also know now that Lopez was probably engaged in marriage fraud, and possibly blackmail.

Its good gay marriage is banned in Florida. Ms. Lopez could otherwise continue her crime spree from behind bars.

I have an idea for punishment. Require Eunice Lopez to spend a week with each of her mother-in-laws. Am I cruel?

Being the looker that she is, I would imagine Immigration fraud is possibly involved in the marriages; otherwise maybe she held a gun to each husband's head and made them each say I do.
