and Hawaii pulls out a hear... (Below threshold)1. Posted by kepa poalima | December 2, 2007 4:58 AM | Score: 0 (0 votes cast)
and Hawaii pulls out a heart stopper, scoring the go ahead td with less than a minute to play, Washinton, on a decent kick-off return and two long pass plays were 1st and 10 on hawaii's 4yrd line with less than 20sec to play. after a stop, the washington receiver bobbled a sure td pass in the end zone, hawaii intercepted the bobble preserving a undefeated 12-0 season, the only undefeated major college team. colt brennan was 40something for 50, 400yrds+ and 5 td's, coming back from being 21 points down in the 1st qtr. they have to be factored into the bcs equation, add in the upsets earlier on saturday and sunday's final bcs ranking should be interesting

If Colt Brennan isn't in the front-runner for the Heisman, it will prove the bias against the WAC still exists, since Ty Detmer won the Heisman in 1990 and then went and got pounded 3 feet into the turf by the Texas A&M Aggie hit squad.
If Oklahoma (who I've loved since the days of Barry Switzer, Jamelle Hollaway, Lydell Carr, Tony Cassilles, Ketih Jackson and the Boz) gets to the BCS championship game again (after getting shellacked by So Cal and then LSU the last two times it went) I will lose my lunch.

Hawaii fans--the toughest team on the Warrior's schedule, the Washington Huskies--is a below average team in the PAC 10, a BCS conference. They struggled at home with them.
Hawaii's Strength of Schedule is a solid 119 out of 119 college teams. Don't look for any respect from any college football fan unless the Warriors win their BCS bowl game. Only then will they earn some.
