One of the bigger arguments going around lately is that the US is not fighting the right people. Some say that we didn't "finish the job" in Afghanistan. Others say that we haven't really gone after the really troublesome nations in the world, and then cite North Korea, Iran, Syria, or some other nation.
But no one, to the best of my knowledge, has really gone after the biggest trouble-maker in the world today.
I get a lot of e-mail. A LOT. And lately, I've been noticing one thing taking up more and more and MORE of my e-mail box every single day.
I don't think that even an invasion and regime change will work at this point.

Admiral Fallon recently said "as long as I'm running Centcom, there will be no military intervention or action against Iran" He's the guy that stopped the last warship from going out, saying it was unnecessary and threatening. As long as we've got him, there won't be crap happening in Iran unless Israel finally gets the balls to do it.

Now why would that be?
Surely as a paid up member of the Leftist Troll Patrol you ascribe to the "Republicans are skin-flinted bastards who would steal the last dime from a dead grandma's purse." (and send it to Karl Rove)
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it your side of the political divide that believe in so much compassion for the poor and down trodden they will tax the bageesus out of their fellow citizens to fund their latest give-away.
If so it lays to waste your above statement doesn't it? It's your side of the aisle that would be more prone to fall for these scams.
And the Wieder denial of party affiliation will commence in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5... seconds.
And BTW, at least I'm not alone in seeing an increase in this crap. I'm getting on average 20 every 24 hours.

I think I read a rumor somewhere that once you subscribe to a porn site your name goes on one of these mailing lists. The more porn you buy, the more emails you receive.

I guess it isn't a rumor after all...

10 to 20 spam scams every 24 hours. It's the result of slime balls selling email addresses to the mass of criminals in the democrat party. Do you know a democrat that works a regular job? All I know are on the government dole, welfare and they're families have been since 1865 or involved in some type of criminal activity. Find someone cooking Meth and selling it to children and you find a democrat. That's just the way it is.

This is one of the main reasons I continue to use Yahoo Mail: because they filter out most if not all of this kind o' crap.
One thing I am bugged by is Spam referrers. In the last week, I've seen dozens of European domain referrers from sites that I can't understand would want to visit mine. So I block 'em, at least, most.
I do know that once anyone writes about Spam (or Spam Scams or related), it's a surefire bet that you'll then start receiving a whole lot more of it, and that the URLs and/or emails used will then be passed around with other Spammers, thus ensuring even more Spam for most of your future. They do that: target individuals and sites and anyone who says it's random isn't paying attention.
But referrer Spam is about the worst. It's con game of numbers and creates a very misleading representation of site URLs over time, if left unremedied.

YAHOO and EARTHLINK have really good spam filters, I rarely get spam of any kind in my inbox. Verizon's SPAM filter only catches about %75.
