As I write this the wife is at the mall with our youngest attempting to break the curse of the crappy Santa photo-op. It's sort of a tradition around here to haul out this picture as a monument to the futility of the Santa photo op, and as an introduction to the Scared Of Santa Photo Gallery.

Just want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas; the best one you've ever had. Thanks Kevin, Jay, Kim, and others for letting me vent occasionally.
And a special wish for our Wizbang trolls: I hope that the lump of coal you will deservedly find in your stocking came from a non-union mine owned by a subsidiary of Halliburton ;-)

Merry Christmas to you Old Coot, and all others. Yes, it has been a difficult year. And a 'Happy new year' to you as well or happy 'new way forward' or happy 'old way forward' whatever will be the vogue phrase, early next year.

Of course Children are scared of Santa. It's pure logic. They have been hearing for a couple of months about this guy that has their phones tapped, their bank accounts monitored... Hell, he even has surveilance cameras in their bedrooms. ("he sees you when you're sleeping"). and then they meet him. In their position, I'd be scared too.

I'm working on this years pic. It was good, but it was only of the youngest of the our three. The wife didn't get the "on disk" option so I've got to go the flatbed scanner route.

Man, some of those Santas scared me too! One looked even scarier than Billy Bob Thorton.
Merry Christmas to all the Wizbangers. And that means all of you.
