That's how McQ at Q&O describes Crazy Cynthia McKooky McKinney's bill calling for the impeachment of President Bush:
In what was likely her final legislative act in Congress, outgoing Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney introduced a bill Friday to impeach President Bush.
The legislation has no chance of passing and serves as a symbolic parting shot not only at Bush but also at Democratic leaders. Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has made clear that she will not entertain proposals to sanction Bush and has warned the liberal wing of her party against making political hay of impeachment.
So who will take over Cynthia McKinney's spot as House loon? Charlie Rangel has been pretty loony as of late. Perhaps he can pick up her loony torch and keep the looniness going.

Update: Nathan at Church and State is following what he calls Cynthia's last stand.
Update II: Giacomo at Joust the Facts had a post yesterday about Cynthia McKinney's impeachment bill: Last Quacks of a Dying Loon.

I used to live in McKinney's district. In the very base of her district. I'm Black, if it matters, and would like to convey some unreported truths.
1. Cynthia McKinney won her last term in Congress by not campaigning. That's right, not campaining. She did some functions in her base, but did not venture outside of it. She did not posters, billboards, or flyers, outside of her base within her district as well. Her district covers almost all of Dekalb county, and parts of Qwinnett county. And get this, her distirct is predominantly liberal. While the MSM would have people believe her defeat was a neo-con conspiracy for the "Man" to keep the brotha's down, it was the people in her district that got fed up with her.
2. While her district was redrawn to include more areas that were white, these were white liberals (Jews, hippies, old school liberals, and some moon bats) and Hispanics. Having the New Black Panthers (Angry anti-Semites) on your staff is not a good move, when a good portion of the district is Jewish. It's flatout stupid when these Jews happen to be liberal and don't like Bush to begin with.
3. She authored almost no legislation after 12 years in Congress, and tried to use an example of federal money budgeted to the state, then allocated to her county (One of the fastest growing in the state), as her bringing money to the district, i.e. she has clout. She is probaly on of the few congresspeople that did not get theur share of earmarked cash in the federal budget.
4. Although the base (predominantly Black) made up a substantial portion of the district, an almost equal portion involved were not minority. She almost never met with them, or attended any open house functions in those areas.
5. After the last election, the news team interviewd people in her base (All Black). The responses ranged from embarrassment to contempt to good riddance, All directed at McKinney. She had to dig and use Hank Johnson's bankryptcy from 12 years ago (trying to start his law practice) as her campaign theme. The people saw through it.
6. Cindy Sheehan, YES THAT CINDY SHEEHAN, was at her victory party (eating pizza during the time she was having her national fast), only for it to turn into a no show from McKinney because the election ended up being a run-off. Blacks may hate Bush, but they loathe a mother doing the celebrity circuit whoring her son's death for political gain.
*shaking my head*, what an absolute morin. Her district was rigged to have a Black congressman through infinity, with McKinney the #1 candidate. And she was such an idiot, she lost even that. Hank Johnson will be a moderate-liberal Dem. I may disagree with some of his positions (school vouchers, rolling back tax cuts), but he is a good guy, and a man with a lot of character. I hope he does well and get his due.

Mainmonkey -- Impeachment is the kind of thing -- oh, Republicans would do when they moral values are offended by a back-office blowjob. On the other hand, the righteously-moral right will defend the likes of Denny Hastert -- who was recently found by the ethics committee to be guilty of facilitating Foley's actions as he hunted down teen-aged pages in the halls of congress.
I agree with Pelosi that impeachment is a bad move. I'm all for waiting for possible war crimes trials instead after Bush is out of office. Waiting is in the best interest of our nation, and that's exactly what the Pelosi will do.

My second nomination is newbie Congressman Steve Kagen also from Wisconsin. He was the kook who called Indians "injuns" and said he'd challenge hijackers to hand-to-hand combat.

Perhaps Corrine Brown (D-FL) will pick up the mantle. She has about the same record and was censured on the House floor not long ago for insulting her fellow reps and the Prez. She too has brought forward no meaningful legislation, other than suggestions to rename two post offices and a courthouse.
She sponsored a bill to honor Miss America (2004), Ericka Dunlap.
She sponsored a bill "To authorize major medical facility projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs..." That sounds good, but all she did was copy someone else's bill. And one of those projects was for Las Vegas, Nevada - not Florida. All at a whopping half billion dollars.
She sponsored a bill to give Haiti more money.
She called the Bush Admin. a "racist" "bunch of white men". When called on it, she said "You all look alike to me."
Her Congressional trips are almost all sponsored by the Assn. of American Railroads -- once spending over a thousand dollars for meals for a four day trip.
Hell, she may even be worse than McKinney.
