I have a friend who briefly worked for a car-rental agency. He would tell me about the things folks would leave behind when returning their cars. But he never found anything like this...
Clue for the clueless: if you're going to rent a car to run drugs, go over it THOROUGHLY before returning it. The slightest bit of evidence can, eventually, be your undoing. And in this case, it was hardly "slight..."
