I blogged recently about the joint effort of various Porkbusters to expose earmarks, but it is definitely worth repeating. Mary Katharine Ham makes it the subject of her second Vent and reports on one example involving Charlie Rangel.

By the way... Sen. Steven's $225 m."bridge to nowhere" which was voted in...is a done deal unless those darn tree huggers can make their case that it it will disrupt a whale nursury...(google it yourself)
Remember ALL pork must pass the Republican majority..

Okay, full disclosure: I am a registered member of the Free Love/Cheap Beer Party (FLCBP). Indeed, I am that party's chief luminary -- its Churchill, its Mao, its Pat Boone -- and I can only lose such a contest. Our People have never been connected with congressional earmarks -- at least not in the role of "beneficiariy."
Thought you had to know.
