Dennis Miller is joining Hannity and Colmes:
Comedian and actor Dennis Miller is joining Fox News as a contributor to "Hannity & Colmes" this autumn, according to a network executive. Miller, who did a stint on "Hannity & Colmes" in 2003 and then had his own eponymous show on CNBC, will begin weighing in on news and politics beginning Sept. 13. He also will provide commentary on the Fox News Web site.
Will this ultimately result in Dennis having his own show on Fox?

AND CNN hired Castro's (as in Fidel) daughter. In all fairness, she has been critical of the old man's policies. My guess is CNN is unaware of this part.

I hope Miller does get his own program on Fox News. I thoroughly enjoyed his dry, right-of-center wit on CNBC. The only problem with his former show was that it was a political-satire show on CNBC. I suspect it would do very well on Fox News.

Yeah, right, the hilarious Dennis Miller. The man is attraction itself. Say good night to "Hannity & Colmes."
I remember watching him after he'd just come out of his conservative closet and thinking, I hope them Republicans are sucking him as hard has he's sucking them. An actor in search of an audience -- whoring for an audience, actually.
And a very bad prognosticator, as it happens.
But he's all yours.
Enjoy.

When you say whoring for an audience, you mean like that non-comedian former sport commentator Oblermann with an O'Reilly mask and a Nazi salute? Just wondering.

That was really nice of Ailes to give Hannity a little help in his ongoing debates with Colmes. I mean with sharp wit and deadly verbal jijitsu, it's only fair to pit two against that world-class debater Colmes.

Oh, I know! Two against one? I think it would be more accurate to call Colmes as world-class mass debator.

I've always said, a conservative with the ratings of Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews would not last long. Miller's show was cancelled and replaced with what may I ask?
I think this is a test for his own show on Fox. I liked his show, and I remember when he was a staunch liberal a la Alec Baldwin. After 9/11, as with most people who live without the benefit of an entourage of syncophants within the confines of our gated mansions, he immediately changed his perspective on terrorism and how to deal with it.
