This has been a very, very, very good month for the nerd in me. That's the nerd that has a three-foot-tall stack of Star Trek books -- and those are just the non-fiction, reference books. Don't even get me started on the novels. But speaking of the novels:
First, I got to see several of my favorite Star Trek authors at the Shore Leave convention, and had Peter David sign a couple of his books for me.
Then, I've had not one, but two of my favorite Star Trek authors commenting here.
With my personal life in such a cruddy place right now (don't ask), it's nice that my fantasy life is going gangbusters...

Is it me Jay or could there possibly be a connection between your three-foot-tall stack of Star Trek books and sci-fi conventions, and your cruddy personal life?! Just a thought, sorry, I couldn't resist!

J,
I'm assuming this is an error: "I've had not one, but two of my favorite Star Trek authors"
If that is literally the case, then your personal life doesn't really sound that bad....

Hmmm.
Just don't inadvertantly show up for work with your Spock ears on.

It'd be nice if Diane Duane would get around to publishing that final Rihannsu series book "The Empty Chair", that I've been waiting to read for the past 5 years...
