Karl Rove simply makes a political prediction about Hillary Clinton and she characterizes it as an obsession:
Reacting to a new book quoting Karl Rove as saying she will be the 2008 Democratic nominee for president, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that President Bush's chief political strategist "spends a lot of time obsessing about me..."
"...Karl Rove is a brilliant strategist. So, if I were thinking about this," she told WROW-AM radio in Albany, "I'd say, why are they spending so much time talking about me?"
I think Senator Clinton thinks a little too much of herself.
But it appears her husband has an obsession of his own.

If I didn't know anything at all about Hillary, this one statement of hers would set all my red flags and alarms into overdrive; only a master manipulator twists things around and exaggerates them so adroitly... and only a scarily BAD person uses that skill to make people's objectively acceptable behaviors seem like evidence of massive wrongdoing.
(This makes me grateful that America's not ready for a female president.)
