Last month I attended an off-the-record lunch at the National Press Club sponsored by the Shorenstein Center for Journalism at Harvard. Matt Stoller at MyDD captures the ambiance of the event, which rather rapidly descended into a pity party for the Washington Post's Deborah Howell.
Pat Cleary from The National Association of Manufacturer's ShopFloor blog was there as well, and he revisits the luncheon in the context of Jim Brady's weekend editorial in The Washington Post.
