In case you live in a cave (or the US), you probably already know that Germany is hosting the 2006 World Cup, soccer's premier championship. As is the case with the Olympics, everyone wants to get in on the Cup logoing act. According to The Sun Online, designers from Germany's Ministry of Interior Affairs dreamed up the logo above for a police welcome campaign. Unfortunately for them he's a little too familiar looking...

If you look at it from one angle it does look a little like Hitler, but if you look at it from another angle, it looks like Mohammed.

Oh, good Lord - it looks like a freaking soccer ball with a face drawn on it.

Yes, and no. Its a crap scan, but when you line it up next to the pic of Hitler on the link above, the similarities are a bit more noticeable.
I just think it was a crap logo... why do the cops need one anyway?
