Former Senate majority leader Trent Lott commenting on the growing influence of blogs on Capitol Hill. His remarks are published the same day Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert starts Speaker's Journal.

Hastert's blog needs some method of leave comments - moderated of course. I don't expect him to interact with people, but it might help him to get a better understanding on who we are, and how we feel about various issues.
