I'm switching the way individual pages load. There's shouldn't be any visible changes or downtime, though things may be wonky for a few minutes.
On the upside commenting should speed up dramatically.
Update: Quick and painless. For the techies among you I switched to dynamic archives for individual archives. The time it takes for a comment to process appears to have dropped from near 30 seconds to less than 5 seconds...

Interesting. You're still using Movable Type and you've figured a way to do that, or have you switched to WordPress?
