It's almost time for the 2005 Weblog Awards. Even though the site is still under construction it will soon be time to take suggestions for new categories. Early November will see the open nomination process get started, and voting will start after Thanksgiving. Everything will wrap-up by December 15th with the announcement of winners and (new this year) the awarding of special juried awards.
The announcement today is the opening of the Weblog Awards newsletters. The best way to keep tabs on what's going on with the awards, and the only way to volunteer as a member of the finalist selection panel, is to sign-up for the applicable newsletter at the
Sign-up Page.
In case you missed the last two years, you can look back on prior years awards here: 2004 Weblog Awards, 2003 Weblog Awards.
More to come - very soon...

Most incredible albeit infrequently updated blog that has never been mentioned by the MSM or invited to a major political event.
Or somthing.

Judging from my TTLB stats, my category should probably be, "Most Links, Fewest Readers."

I will not participate as a contestant, as usual, but I strongly suggest a catblogging or petblogging category.
