Apple's video-enabled iPod models, announced Wednesday, promise to be a gold mine for pornographers. While Apple announced a deal to sell episodes of popular series from ABC for $1.99 a piece, the video iPod's represent a potential windfall for the adult film makers, adult film stars, and webcam girls, who already have large libraries of material to re-purpose onto the new medium.
While the video iPod may be a dream device for podcasters, if the history of the Internet is any guide, it's pornographers who will be the first to really exploit the commercial possibilities of the new device.

Let's add the fact that the porn industry seems to lead the way when you have competing technologies. As examples:
BETA vs. VHS
DIVXX vs. DVD
If someone comes up with a competing technology, see where the porn industry goes and buy that stock.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking this! And I agree with Dave, buy stock in the formats the porn industry chooses - just like I pointed out in my blog ( sextoysreviews.blogspot.com/2005/05/which-hi-def-dvd-format-will-you-get.html )

video iPod = the iPod extended beyond it's useful funtion, the tiny little screen isn't OK for video viewing, much less pr0n... and the other players came out a looooong time before, why should we buy this crud? i bet it doesnt support the great video format wmv...
