Hmmm.
My solution would be for very attractive women to be required, by law, to walk around naked except for high heels, lace teddys and g-string.
Would I get your vote?

If I remember right a popular porn actreess admitted to lying about her age when she first started. Making a lot of her movies child porn. It keeps me away from watching any of that stuff. I would not want to go to jail for watching something that later turned out to be child porn. Kinda off topic but yes you can legally drive drug dealers and pornographers out of your community using several different tactics. Why not take it up a notch?

Death by a thousand papercuts. Fiendish, but effective.

Kevin,
Why did you file this under "dumbasses?" Do you think it is a BAD idea?

I would think it belongs under "dumbass" ideas because it a) does nothing to stop porn and b) becomes another regulatory problem for non-porn stuff. As the article said a harmless TV show showing a married couple in bed would be in the same boat as "Debbie Does Dallas".
If you are trying to stamp out something like a porn magazine the last thing you want to try is more beuracratic paperwork that they are already experts at...they've been doing it for years....it's only the non-porn stuff that hasn't and now has too.
It's like saying the way to stop lawyers from being corrupt is to have every person--lawyers or not--file legal briefs before doing anything...guess who is already good at that?

Has anyone ever been prosecuted for watching a show that they had reasonable cause to believe wasn't child porn? That would be extremely effed up.
