Turns out some things really are too good to be true...
OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadians can put away those extra welcome mats -- it seems Americans unhappy about the result of last November's presidential election have decided to stay at home after all.Alec Baldwin, patron saint of the country fleeing moonbats, was unavailable for comment. In the days after President Bush won a second term, the number of U.S. citizens visiting Canada's main immigration Web site shot up sixfold, prompting speculation that unhappy Democrats would flock north.
But official statistics show the number of Americans actually applying to live permanently in Canada fell in the six months after the election.

I'd like the see the numbers on Cannucks moving south and see how it changed, if it did. That would be the real test.

Hey what happened to the Canadian motto: "Give us your tired, your hungry, your moonbats!"
We know the Canadian Liberal government is always up for a bribe. Can we start a collection to get them to take our disgruntled elite?

I knew those whiners at the Democratic Underground were full of hot air. Now we're stuck with them until the next election.

Lew: I suggest a dozen Krispy Kremes w/each moonbat refugee. Gotta be better than those Tim Horton cannonballs the Canadians think are donuts ;)

If it's a matter of funding I'll chip in for one-way tickets if they'll sign contracts making it legal to shoot them if they ever try to return. I haven't had any takers on my offers yet, but there's still hope a few will leave under my Get Out and Don't Ever Come Back You America Hating Bastard or We'll Shoot Your Useless Parasitic Ass Program.

I made a bet with 5 individuals, who, in their depression after the election swore up and down they were out of here. $1000 a piece I bet them. All 5 stayed. All 5 refuse to talk about the bet.
Like a football coach I once had said, "All show and no dough."

would this post make you more of a 'thinker' or a 'linker'?
Be honest!
I especially like the use of the erudite term 'moonbat'. Classy!

"Moonbat" is an accurate description of people like Baldwin and the denizens of the Democratic Underground. Lots of whining and irrational babbling, childish threats to leave the country, foot stamping and general hysteria. It's laughable.

Can you say 'straw man'? This post is put here just for the opportunity to attack 'lefties'.
This from the same blog that has a post that lectures the lefty blogs for a lack of serious 'thinking' content.
Give me a break!

The real reason the vast majority of they "if Bushitler wins I'm moving to Canada" crowd never left is because they couldn't talk their parents into moving there. If the parents don't live in Canada the moonbats won't have their parent's basement to live in.
