I'm not one to judge a book by its cover, but I can almost smell the history revision and moral relativism already.
Anyone care to guess at which 9/11 conspiracy theory Stone chooses as the centerpiece for this film? My money is on the "Bush staged 9/11 to get support for invading Iraq" canard.
Update:
The story itself is a compelling one, as Kevin pointed out in this post previously. Its just a shame that its going to be told by someone like Oliver Stone.

Not very original, considering Michael Moore already produced a work of fiction about 9-11.

I don't think Stone will go that far. My bet is on a FDR/Pearl Harbor level... "Bush choose to ignore the intell on the pending attack and allowed it to happen to build the case for his 'War for Oil' in Iraq". Expect Halliburton to play a supporting role too.

I'd have to see more details on the movie also. I would shudder to think that Nic Cage would do anything that would undermind the GWoT effort right now. He's been fairly neutral so far unless I've missed something on him the past few years. Maybe Oliver should get Denzel in on this one than I'd know it would be ok.

I'm guessing it'll be like Micky and Mohammad do the WTC, Natural Born Jihadis. Make them stars/murderers/the killers you love to hate but can easily find admirable that capture the public's imaginations and eventually their hearts. It'll work too, for a select moonbat filled audience. When the DVD comes out maybe the director's cut will include a hitherto unknown 767 flying in from the grassy knoll.

It'll be a very bad movie from a very bad Communist. Who Castro will hug and compensate with sweet notes and baskets of fruit afterward.

Here's another thing, and you mark my words: Stone's latent anti-Semitic tendencies are going to come out. Watch for the movie to repeat the urban legend about NYC Jews being warned not to go to work that day.
