This is interesting:

OK This is part of my "news at face value" theory. Take it for what it is worth. Homelandsecurityus.com has come up with some scoops in the past. Still, it seems mighty early to have this information.
They report, you decided.... (But boy it would turn the politics surrounding gitmo upside-down.)
Update: Speaking of unconfirmed reports, Drudge is reporting that ABC is reporting that 2 unexploded bombs were found. Drudge has no link yet. This would be a major coop for the intelligence folks who could get mountains of data from them. (not to mention the lives it saved) Chad from Inside the Bullpen helps out with a link to the ABC story. Looks like timers, not cell phones.

if true, let's hope that was at the insistence of the UK government because the moonbats are already blaming Bush for this set of attacks, and just wait, they'll rotate their heads on their shoulders and find a way to bash the US for not keeping this guy detained, just watch........

They won't blame Bush for letting him go, they'll claim Bush created him, say that he was just a peaceful farmer before GITMO. They'll claim the torture drove him to it and those bullets he was shooting at our soldiers in Afghanistan were blanks, too....

And in an odd, I-wish-today-didn't-have-to-happen-this-way, I hope this story turns out to be true.

Folks,
The detainees at Guantanamo Bay have all been found to be illegal combatants by a duly appointed military tribunal as per the Geneva Conventions. The only appropriate destination therafter should be a shallow un-marked grave.

Some people will blame Bush or Blair for any thing that happens. These are the people who have supported the terror groups, The ban the war groups, tear down Gitmo. I have seen at first hand a older Iraqi man trying to recruit asian youth into his organisation what is organisation was I do not know. But this certain Iraqi wore western clothes smoked and drunk Beer and he made himself look like a westener, but he hated the Americans and the British, he said they had no right to have bombed Iraq, and Saddam was a good leader.

The Beginnings
It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the English began to hate.
They were not easily moved,
They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.
Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.
It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.
It was not suddenly bred,
It will not swiftly abate,
Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.
1914, Rudyard Kipling
