Mystery solved...
VIENNA, Austria (AP) - Dioxin poisoning caused the mysterious illness of Ukrainian presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko, a doctor said Saturday, adding that the poison could have been put in his soup.Yushchcenko was in satisfactory condition and his dioxin levels have returned to normal, Dr. Michael Zimpfer, director of Vienna's private Rudolfinerhaus clinic, said at a news conference.
"There is no doubt about the fact that Mr. Yushchenko's disease has been caused by a case of poisoning by dioxin," Zimpfer said.
The 50-year-old opposition leader first fell ill in September and was rushed to the Vienna hospital. He resumed campaigning later in the month but his mysterious illness had left his face pockmarked and ashen.

As I predicted, he was found to be poisoned by something exotic and difficult to trace.
It was sort of amazing to see people saying he had too much vodka, or an acne rosacea breakout, or herpes.

Yikes! Will he ever get some semblance of his old face back? Is the dioxin effect permanent?
And I wonder if the soup was dusted for Putin's fingerprints.

We now know two things:
1. Dioxins are not the deadly toxins the left claims. They are useful chemicals and the lefty attack on them has cost our economies huge sums. All to placate a bunch of Chicken Littles.
2. Nobody wanted to kill him, just embarass or disable him. Either that or the poisoner was a lefty who believed his own BS about dioxins.

Now, he just looks like every other Russian male---bulbous nose, pock marked face. Poor guy. I hope he gets over all this and regains his normal appearance.
