Journalist, and former Kuwaiti Minister of Information, Dr. Sa'd Bin Tefla criticizes Muslim nation's equivocal stance on Osama bin Laden. He concludes as follows:
Where are the Fatwas Against Bin Laden?A longer version is available at MEMRI.Despite the fact that bin Laden murdered thousands of innocents in the name of our religion and despite the damage that he has caused to Muslims everywhere, and especially to innocent Muslims in the West whose life is much better than the life of Muslims in Islamic lands, to this date not a single fatwa has been issued calling for the killing of Bin Laden, on the pretext that Bin Laden still proclaims 'there is no God other than Allah.' [But] is it not the case that Napoleon repeated the same thing many times in the course of the French attack on Al-Azhar?
But let us put aside the [subject of the] fatwa. Have any protests been held condemning bin Laden's actions in any of the Islamic capital cities? Perhaps there were some that demonstrated in his favor. The [Muslim] satellite stations competed amongst themselves in broadcasting his sermons and fatwas, instead of preventing their dissemination as they did in the case of [Salman] Rushdie's book [The Satanic Verses]. Have we earmarked a reward for anyone who kills bin Laden as we did for anyone who kills Rushdie on account of his book?
With our equivocal stance on bin Laden we from the very start left the world with the impression that we are all bin Laden.

I was just looking at the MEMRI site this morning. I had trouble viewing the RealMedia video files, but poured over the transcripts and cartoons. It really does leave one with the impression that they are all bin Laden.
A couple of recurrent themes among the MEMRI documents: first, the Holocaust never happened. (where have we heard that one before?) Second, Arabs & Muslims had nothing to do with 9/11 -- either the Jews or Americans did it so they would have an excuse for a Crusade.
If the Arab world wants to dispel the idea that they are all bin Laden, more people like Sa'd Bin Tefla will have to make their voices known.
I noticed some outrage from the Muslim world after the attack on the Russian school, but for every condemnation, there's a group like al-Muhajiroun which celebrates the 9/11 attack and makes it known that murdering children is perfectly acceptable to them.

Too bad. They need to grow a pair and face their nutjobs, or we will continue to face them. That can only lead to one devastating conclusion.

Nevermind the Muslims, what about the Democrats. For instance, let's call for a Fatwa against the fat-ass Teddy Kennedy. I heard some of the statements by bin Laden's right hand man, Al Zawahiri, during the recently released videotape. He's been listening to the members of the Liberal media and the Democrat Party. Some of his statements could just as well have been uttered by Kennedy, Kerry & Company or the goon squad at the DNC.

Someone contributed this link earlier this morning to a thread on my blog...what we now have in our world are two groups of humans: the first, those who contribute and allow for terrorism, by deed or misdeed or omission or even a cruel attempt at comedy and worse, commerce; and, the second, those who confront and disprove terrorism.
Unfortunately, there is no longer much national boundary between the two, but only a capacity to comprehend themselves, or, not, as in the case of the first group.
