The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute to our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen.Via: American DaughterI was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN" and are proud to serve our country." These heroes, these great folks, these wonderful human beings...I remember them, too, those in service, so truly heroic. As I do also remember 09/11/01, I remember and still cry about it, but first I remember and get mad.
This is a wonderful photograph -- I'd like to reprint if it's alright, with credits included.

Here in Australia, it's already Sept.11.
And we remember.
Thank you, America and God bless you all.

Look closely. The "9 - 11" is not soldiers but rifles with helmets to remember the dead. Goose bumps!
Our soldiers are the best.

It still deeply imbedded in my mind how my lungs were filled with the smoke emanating from downtown Manhattan on 9-11-01. My tears were shed because of a combination of horrible sorrow and smoke filling the skys over New York City. Many of my comrades died that day including guys from the NYPD Emergency Services Unit and Bomb Squad who train me in my youth. This may be the reason why today I go ballistic when I hear Liberals lecture on terrorism or when I hear Democrats attack George W. Bush -- the man I looked to for leadership on the darkest day in my life.

A wonderful picture. I applaud the bravery of our soldiers. However, the comment says that the photo is to show people the soldiers know why they are in Iraq. It seems these soldiers have been lead to believe the Iraq invasion was in retribution for 9-11.

GOD BLESS OUR SOLIDERS IN UNIFORM. AS A MILITARY SPOUSE I WOULD LIKE TO SAY NO OUR SOLIDERS HAVE NOT BEEN MISLEAD AS TO WHY THEY ARE THERE THEY ARE TO PROTECT AND SERVE OUR NATION. REMEBER YOU WOULD RATHER OUR TROOPS FIGHT TERRORISM ABROAD THAN AT OUR FRONT DOORS.
