2,000 U.S. troops killed in Iraq: Russian expert

MOSCOW, JULY 23. The United States suffers far heavier casualties in Iraq than it officially admits, a Russia military diplomat claimed.

The actual U.S. military losses in Iraq may have reached 2,000 personnel, more than twice the official figure of 900, as Washington badly understates its casualty statistics, a military diplomatic source told the Itar-Tass news agency.

"Official statistics do not include casualties among non-U.S. nationals who sign up to serve in the American armed forces in order to get a U.S. `green card.' According to reliable information the share of non-Americans in the U.S. force in Iraq may be as high as 60 per cent," the source said. "The real number of U.S. losses may be as high as 2,000 casualties and up to 12,000 wounded," the military diplomat said.

Thank you for bringing this sewage to light. I read a bunch of it, and it inspired me to contact the Bush-Cheney campaign, to which I contribute, and thank them for not offering this kind of junk on their website.
Oh, but isn't Kerry all about taking the high road? I guess it doesn't count if a bunch of bottomfeeders do his dirty work for him as usual a la Michael Moore.

Interesting to read that other people have noticed the Kerry dodge at work. I've now learned from Kerry that whatever it is he says he "renounces" or who "does not speak for (him)" means that they actually aren't and do, but it gives Kerry a flip-flop work around. About that "board," amazing that they never, ever, write anything original. Or, discuss anything real. Like Kerry's actual military record (cough, cough). For starters. Next, what he's done, not done, in the Senate for, lo, these many years.

From the "Hekcler" thread... do you notice anything odd? Like, everyone is agreeing she'll be the best first lady ever. Why aren't there any dissenters, even in a mild sense? Could it be that the John Kerry blog/forum deletes posts and bans users that don't follow their worldview to the T? That's what happened to me, and I guess they've gotten even better at it.
