John Kerry's acceptance speech started with this unscripted quote, "My name is John Kerry, and I'm reporting for duty."
The Associated Press picks it up from here.

Well, John, your first duty here at Wendy's will be to take this broom, and sweep around that couple in the corner celebrating their anniversary. Cheap bastards.

How many times did he use the word "I"? I'll bet it was at least 100.

You're being much too inclusive on Vietnam while being not at all inclusive on Iraq. How about references to "troops"? "armed forces"? "Fight a war on the cheap"? "Mission accomplished"? "Weapons of mass destruction"? Kerry discussed the one war in the context of his experience in the other; they had about equal weight.
And how can you count "soldiers" as Vietnam but not Iraq? And "veterans"? Who's fighting the war if not soldiers, and how are they coming back but as veterans? When he talks about veterans' health care, he's not just talking about the over-60 crowd. He's talking about what'll happen if my 23-year-old nephew comes back from Iraq with a leg blown off.
