Okay, but did he take the documents with him or are they still misplaced and discarded at the Kerry Campaign Headquarters.

Funny how he's described in headlines as a Clinton advisor when his most recent gig was with Kerry...

Semantics=picking your words...or not?
If Bill (can't keep it in is pants) Clinton is making a comment about this clearly illegal stealing and hiding of crucial information from the American Government, it should be obvious to ALL, that this is SPIN CONTROL, bought and paid for by John Kerry.
If he Clinton (and the Democratic Party) knew about this robbery, cover-up, nod-of-assent "it's just politics" acceptance for the purely political gain of "ME", then why have they (the Democratic Party) not come forward with this information before last night? You betcha...if the White House was aware of these events for many months, they have chosen absolutely to pick this day, this week, this time in history to blow the whistle. Why not? It's "JUST POLITICS".
Why is Clinton laughing about this? But more importantly, why, when he says it is a "non-story" is he wondering who "LEAKED" it? Those sound like words (semantics) of spin. Those sound like words of cover-up. Those sound like words of trying to appease outrage.
This is legally reprehensible. These actions are a slap in the face of American justice, and a slap for the hope for all Americans that we will be treated with respect and dignity. Bill Clinton, John Kerry and the Democratic Party absolutely do not understand what that means. They keep all of those persons who cannot or will not seek answers of the truth, victims of their agenda.
Go get'em GWB!
CLINTON SAYS BERGER-DOCUMENTS FUROR IS JUST POLITICS: 'WE WERE ALL LAUGHING ABOUT IT'
Tue Jul 20 2004 20:54:50 ET
Former president Bill Clinton defends his embattled national security advisor as a man who "always got things right," even if his desk was a mess.
"We were all laughing about it," Clinton said about the investigation into Sandy Berger for taking classified terrorism documents from the National Archives. "People who don't know him might find it hard to believe. But ... all of us who've been in his office have always found him buried beneath papers."

DRUDGE has learned: In an interview set for publication Wednesday in the DENVER POST, Clinton questions the timing of the Berger flap less than a week before the Democratic National Convention and two days before a presidential commission is slated to release its final report on the Bush administration's handling of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Clinton tells the POST he has known about the federal probe of Berger's actions for several months, calling the news a "non-story."
"I wish I knew who leaked it. It's interesting timing," he added.
"I feel terrible for Sandy. But I just believe his explanation because I know how much he cared about this ... terrorism business," Clinton said, describing his former security advisor as a "workaholic" who has "always been up to his ears in papers."

I think we are about to see the most massive explosion of the Democratic Spin Machine ever released. "It was just sloppiness" is about to bury "it was just sex" under double digit metric tons of BS.

At a minimum, Kerry was aware for months of the inquiry and is distancing himself because it became public, not having any ethical problems prior to the disclosure.

For the "alleged" mislaid documents... he's already admitted to?
Because he's "under attack" for a little thing like 'losing' documents related to National Security?
Sandy has served his country very ably and very, very well. He deserves certainly the benefit of the doubt here. He's cooperating but I do think the timing is very curious. Given, this has been underway now for this long. Somebody leaked it obviously with an intent, I think, to do damage to Mr. Berger, and I think that's unfortunate. -- Tom Daschle(D)
Remember Watergate was a break-in of a campaign headquarters... not Documents regarding National Security decision by a sitting President currently under investigation... documents are now missing and documents directly related to the decisions made by Clinton(D) and his NSA Sandy Berger(D).
But the NewsMedia fawns and regurgitates Tin-Foil-Hat conspiracy theories... as if catching a criminal of this magnitude is some how diminished because the "timing is very curious".
What "timing" would Tom Daschle(D) prefer? Did not this very investigation flush Berg(L)er and his master, Clinton(D), into the open to be exposed to the light of day?
