According to WDWS radio in Champaign, Illinois (Via The Washington Dispatch) Mike Ditka will not be running for the US Senate seat in Illinois.
Expect Leno and Letterman to both put in personal calls begging him to accept...
Update: According to ABC7Chicago his wife is deadset against him running.
Update 2: AP is reporting that Ditka announced he will not run this evening.
