Rumors about the deteriorating health of former president Ronald Reagan started swirling around last week. They've finally been picked up by the mainstream press.
CNN is reporting:
The 93-year-old former president had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease about a decade ago and began a retreat from public view.Wizbang will have much more on the Reagan's legacy in the coming weeks.According to sources familiar with the situation, the White House has been told Reagan's death could happen in "weeks or months."
The sources said they were told: "Don't be surprised if....the time is getting close."
Update: Reagan's office in Los Angeles denies the rumors.

This, while not entirely surprising, is pretty frickin' annoying. I'm glad to see a handful of DU'ers with their heads on straight and going after the nuttier in their midst.

I must admit, I've never stumbled onto DU before. Is it always that bad? My God, there are people comparing him to Hitler and Stalin..these people have no sense of perspective...
