Last night, at the Boston City Council meeting, a "community activist" and and a City Councilor passed around photos they purported showed US troops raping Iraqi women. The Boston Globe printed it on page B2 this morning.
Yes, the photos are the same porno that have been floating around for a while.
They've pulled the story from their web site. I bought a copy of the paper and scanned in the story.
The Boston Globe is owned by the New York Times, "The Paper Of Record," and has a long and distinguished history of plagiarizing columnists and mis-reporting news.
I'll post more on this later.

Well, they did say the images were "purported" to be of soldiers raping Iraqi women. The bigger news should be that the council of a city the size of Boston is wasting their time on crap like this. A story tomorrow about "Gullible Councilman Falls For Hoax, Wastes Taxpayer Time And Money" would be nice, but somehow I don't see it coming.
