The Kerry campaign is being called to the carpet for being lily white, whereas the Bush Administration in comparison is a rainbow coalition. Since, as a Democrat, Kerry is assumed to be the minority friendly candidate crew this is a bit of a PR problem. What do they do to deflect the criticism?
Does John Kerry want to lose the election? I suspect that Sharpton would have a similar effect to Pat Buchanan at the '92 election were he to speak. Of course, the Conventions won't be televised much, so it may not matter...

Mike:
Kerry panders again. Is this a surprise to anyone? Sharpton just received what he has been looking for all along: credibility and a spot on the stage at the DNC. Kerry couldn't invite someone who is viewed as a more derisive person than Sharpton, who is bound to turn away many people in the undecided category. I'm beginning to think the head of Kerry's election committee is a Republican agent.
