Apparently Michael Moore is replacing Jerry Lewis in the hearts of the French as the preferred "American genius."
According to the AP, Moore's new documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 will be up for the coveted Palme d'Or (the top prize) at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
Big fat lying slob Michael Moore and pretentious French film snobs - A match made in heaven...

Kevin, do you get many e-mail messages from rabid Michael Moore fans? I've gotten several unbelievable ones in response to my anti-Moore posts. I think that says quite a bit about the kind of person who is devoted to him.
The post that my brother did comparing Moore's face to a monkey butt seems to really set them off. Some of them include statements like (in all caps, of course), "HOW CAN YOU SAY THINGS LIKE THAT ABOUT A MAN WHO IS TRYING TO OPEN THE WORLD'S EYES TO THE CORRUPTION AT ALL LEVELS OF THE ELITIST GOVERNMENT!!!!? YOU NEED TO STUDY HISTORY! YOU ARE SO STUPID YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW STUPID YOU ARE..."
Almost all of them write "you need to study history" or "you don't know history" -- dunno why.
